Novie Tajuddin CA (M) continues to make a significant impact in Malaysia’s education landscape as he marks more than three years of leadership as Chief Executive Officer of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). His appointment reflects decades of distinguished experience spanning higher education, professional accountancy, corporate governance, policy development, and international education, positioning him as one of Malaysia’s respected leaders in the education ecosystem.
As Chief Executive Officer of Education Malaysia Global Services, Novie leads the national agency responsible for facilitating and promoting Malaysia as a preferred destination for international students. Under his leadership, EMGS continues to strengthen Malaysia’s global education positioning through strategic international partnerships, student mobility initiatives, digital transformation, and collaborative engagement with higher education institutions, government agencies, and international stakeholders.
Prior to joining EMGS, Novie served as the Chief Executive Officer of The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), where he successfully led the institute through significant industry developments while strengthening the accounting profession, professional education, certification standards, and stakeholder collaboration. His leadership contributed to enhancing professional excellence and strengthening the industry’s talent pipeline.
Beyond his executive leadership responsibilities, Novie continues to contribute extensively to Malaysia’s education and governance ecosystem. He serves as an Adjunct Professor at UNITAR International University, sharing his extensive industry knowledge with future professionals while bridging academia and industry.
