Faz Adnan marks nearly 15 years of excellence as she continues to serve as Senior Manager at the Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA).
With nearly 15 years of experience across multinational semiconductor manufacturing, Human Resources & Corporate Communications, and strategic stakeholder engagement, Faz has built a multidisciplinary career dedicated to strengthening Malaysia’s semiconductor ecosystem. Her professional journey reflects a distinctive progression from engineering and manufacturing operations to people leadership, government engagement, and industry collaboration.
Before joining MSIA, Faz built her career with Infineon Technologies Malaysia and STMicroelectronics Malaysia, where she held progressive roles spanning Engineering Support, Quality Management, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Digitalisation, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, HR Business Partner, and Corporate Communications. Beyond organisational transformation and employee engagement, she also led initiatives in public and government affairs, strategic communications, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), and stakeholder engagement, collaborating closely with employees, union representatives, business leaders, C-suite executives, regional counterparts, and external stakeholders.
Since joining MSIA, Faz has worked at the intersection of industry, government, academia, and international partners to strengthen collaboration across Malaysia’s semiconductor ecosystem. She has facilitated strategic engagements involving ministries, government agencies, multinational corporations, industry associations, foreign embassies, research institutions, and global partners, supporting initiatives related to investment, talent development, policy engagement, innovation, and long-term industry competitiveness.
Her multidisciplinary background enables her to bridge operational realities with strategic and policy perspectives, bringing together diverse stakeholders to address complex challenges and build trusted partnerships that create long-term value.
