With more than a decade of experience in pharmacy and hospital healthcare, Kaveeta has built an impressive professional journey and progressed into her current role as Pharmacy Manager at Columbia Asia Hospital Petaling Jaya.
Since joining Columbia Asia Hospitals in 2016, she has progressed from Pharmacist to Senior Pharmacist before taking on her current leadership position as Pharmacy Manager in 2022. Her progression reflects her commitment to professional excellence, patient-centred care, and the delivery of safe and effective pharmacy services.
Throughout her career, Kaveeta has developed expertise across clinical pharmacy, hospital operations, pharmacy management, and healthcare service delivery. Her dedication to continuous learning is further demonstrated through her Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification and her ongoing part-time PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at UCSI University.
Kaveeta also brings an innovative mindset to pharmacy practice. She has led quality improvement initiatives focused on workflow efficiency and medication safety, including the development of a QR-coded pharmacy formulary designed to help reduce prescription-related errors.
Looking ahead, her growing interest in Artificial Intelligence in healthcare highlights her vision for leveraging emerging technologies to support healthcare professionals, enhance medication safety, improve efficiency, and ultimately strengthen patient care.
