A notable milestone reflects Ts. Mohammad Faizal H.’s continued leadership journey as he marks more than two years serving as Head of Asset Management and Administration at MBI Selangor, a role that highlights his extensive expertise in facilities management, asset optimization, infrastructure operations, administration, safety, and strategic operational leadership.
In his current position, Faizal leads the overall management of facilities, assets, administration, security, and safety operations while overseeing building infrastructure, tenancy management, utilities, and long-term asset lifecycle planning. His responsibilities include driving strategic initiatives that enhance operational performance, optimize costs, strengthen compliance, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery across the organization.
Before joining MBI Selangor, he served as Head of Facilities Management and Administration at Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Berhad (PNMB), where he led nationwide facilities operations across multiple branches throughout Malaysia. During his tenure, he managed large-scale OPEX and CAPEX portfolios, spearheaded cost optimization initiatives, strengthened regulatory compliance, and implemented operational control systems that enhanced efficiency and service performance.
His professional journey also includes significant leadership roles within the energy, transportation, marine, defense, and infrastructure sectors. At Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering (MMHE), he managed strategic business development initiatives and supported the establishment of operations in Saudi Arabia for major energy projects. He also served as Head of Yard Support & Facilities Services at Boustead DCNS Naval Corporation, overseeing mission-critical infrastructure supporting Malaysia’s Scorpene submarine program.
Internationally, Faizal gained valuable experience with Prasarana Malaysia Berhad in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, where he played a key role in facilities management operations for the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro Southern Line, one of the world’s highest-capacity metro systems serving millions of pilgrims during the Hajj season. His expertise in electrical systems, preventive maintenance, asset reliability, and stakeholder coordination contributed significantly to operational readiness and service excellence.
Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions with Barakah Offshore Petroleum Berhad and UEM Edgenta Berhad, where he managed large-scale asset management, facilities operations, fabrication yard management, technical services, business sustainability initiatives, and operational transformation programs across Malaysia and India.
With more than two decades of experience spanning asset management, facilities operations, infrastructure development, energy, transportation, manufacturing, marine engineering, and strategic leadership, Ts. Mohammad Faizal continues to make a meaningful impact in driving operational excellence, organizational sustainability, and long-term value creation across diverse industries.
